DDS Formalises Partnership with Port Loko City Council on Property Tax Modernisation

Development Decision Support (DDS) Limited is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Port Loko City Council, establishing a formal framework for collaboration on property tax administration reform and local revenue strengthening.

The MOU sets out DDS’s commitment to providing the City Council with targeted technical support in property valuation, billing processes, taxpayer compliance, community engagement, and the integration of digital tools into revenue administration.

Port Loko City Council is part of a cluster of Port Loko-based councils — alongside Port Loko District Council — that have partnered with DDS, enabling a coordinated, district-wide approach to revenue reform in the region.

DDS remains committed to working hand-in-hand with local councils to ensure that property tax systems are modern, fair, and capable of generating the revenues needed to fund essential public services for all Sierra Leoneans.
