DDS Signs MOU with Makeni City Council to Sustain its Modernised Property Tax Administration

Development Decision Support (DDS) Limited is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Makeni City Council, formalizing a partnership to support the sustainability of their modernized property and business licenses tax system.

Under the agreement, DDS will provide practical, operational support across key areas of property tax administration including property valuation, billing systems, compliance improvement, taxpayer engagement, and digital integration. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening local revenue generation and improving service delivery in Makeni.

Makeni City Council joins a growing network of local government partners that rely on DDS’s technical expertise to drive evidence-based reform in domestic resource mobilization. DDS brings over a decade of experience in fiscal policy, property tax analytics, and local council advisory work across Sierra Leone.
