National Voluntary Review Report — Sierra Leone’s Implementation of the Global Compact for Migration (GCM)
Project Overview
DDS led an end-to-end technical consultancy to produce Sierra Leone’s National Voluntary Review (NVR) Report on implementation of the Global Compact for Migration (GCM). The assignment was commissioned by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MoPED).
The consultancy encompassed the full production cycle: multi-stakeholder consultation management, policy synthesis across relevant government ministries and agencies, and the production of a final report that was reviewed and approved by both MoPED and IOM. DDS coordinated engagement across a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the NVR report accurately reflected Sierra Leone’s progress and challenges on migration governance.
Deliverables included an Inception Report and Work Plan, a Multi-Stakeholder Consultation Report, and the Final Layout-Ready GCM NVR Report submitted to and approved by the Government of Sierra Leone and IOM.
