Scoping Study on Wan Fambul People’s Planning Process Framework

Project Overview

This project, conducted for Fambul Tok Organisation, assessed the relevance and potential for national scaling of the Wan Fambul People’s Planning Process (PPP) Framework. Piloted in eight chiefdoms across Koinadugu, Kailahun, and Moyamba districts, the PPP framework focuses on inclusive local governance and grassroots-led development.

The scoping study reviewed community development interventions since 2008, evaluated the pilot’s effectiveness, and explored its alignment with Sierra Leone’s national development processes. The study highlighted the framework’s benefits in social mobilization, community healing, economic development, and its contribution to national cohesion and sustainable development.
